STEP 1

You will meet the driver at the place you requested. In case you arrive at the airport, at the train station or at Port, you will find our driver waiting for you. It will be easy to see him, as the chauffeur will keep a sign with your name. In case the pickup location is a hotel, a private residence or a B&B, your driver will be waiting for you near the Lobby or the nearest place. In any case, the driver will contact you 10 minutes before the pickup time via whatsapp or telephone call.

Transfer to Herculaneum by car

Once you meet our chauffeur, you will reach the car for transfer to Herculaneum. Just the time to enjoy the ride from your pickup place to the Herculaneum ruins and then will start the unforgettable walking tour through the archeological site. The driver will accompany you at the entrance gate of site.

More about Herculaneum

Herculaneum was an ancient Roman town, located in the modern-day comune of Ercolano, Campania, Italy. Herculaneum was buried under volcanic ash and pumice in the Eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Like the nearby city of Pompeii, Herculaneum is famous as one of the few ancient cities to be preserved nearly intact, as the ash that blanketed the town protected it against looting and the elements. Although less known than Pompeii today, it was the first and, for a long time, the only discovered Vesuvian city (in 1709). Pompeii was revealed in 1748 and identified in 1763.[1] Unlike Pompeii, the mainly pyroclastic material that covered Herculaneum carbonized and preserved more wooden objects such as roofs, beds, and doors, as well as other organic-based materials such as food and papyrus.
